Allan Phillips, PT, DPTAllan Phillips is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a mission to empower the athletes and active adults of Tucson to return to the sports and workouts they love. He began his journey into helping active adults as a personal trainer and running/triathlon coach. Recognizing a significant shortcoming in how the medical field transitioned patients from rehab back to their active lifestyles, Allan believed he could make a greater impact on people’s lives by helping them overcome injury and return to the activities they love.
Having been an athlete and fitness enthusiast for most of his life, Allan understands how an injury can be disruptive to not only to physical health but also to emotional well-being. He understand the stress of having invested into a fitness or athletic goal, only to have a late injury completely derail the plan. His number one priority as a clinician is to empower his patients to take control of their health and movement to stay active at the highest level possible. Allan earned his B.A. from Emory University, his J.D. from University of San Diego and then completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from South College. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. |
